Shelters in LA
As our project grows, we hope to provide where shelters are located in the LA area as a means of helping others help each other.
Shelters that participated in our film are:
Ascencia, Glendale, CA: (Website: http://www.ascenciaca.org) Serving families, Vets and Individuals.
Covenant House, Teen Shelter, Hollywood, CA (Website: http://covenanthousecalifornia.org/los-angeles-pg.php) Serving teens to 25
Harbor Interfaith, Shelter, San Pedro, CA (Website: http://www.harborinterfaith.org) Serving Families and individuals
Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, Sun Valley, CA (Website: http://www.hopeofthevalley.org) Serving Families and individuals.
Lamp Community, Skid Row, Los Angeles, CA (Website: http://www.lampcommunity.org) Serving all

We encourage folks to have these resources handy, as a means to refer someone in need. There are MANY more shelters in the LA area. These can be a helfpul reference point as they are all located within the LA County system and represent every facet of homelessness that can occur.
